MARKETING INTERN

Prodigy Gold Books is seeking a Marketing Assistant to join their new team! In this role, the Marketing Assistant will provide administrative support and aid in the creation of marketing materials and advertising campaigns. The ideal candidate possesses strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and miscellaneous interests, including but not limited to, the ability to communicate in emoji’s and GIFs.This is a fantastic opportunity to work with authors and on a wide variety of fiction paperback titles.


Specific responsibilities include:

1) Assisting the development of marketing plans for assigned titles by observing timelines, creating original content and visuals, and promoting giveaway opportunities.2) Contributing original content to the Prodigy Gold Books social media platforms and coordinating social media advertising.

SALES INTERN

Prodigy Gold Books is looking for a highly organized Sales Intern to support our Publisher Services sales team. The Sales Intern will support the Director of Trade Paperback and the team responsible for selling all client titles into Barnes & Noble, Books-a-Million, Costco, Sam’s Club, BJ’s, Baker & Taylor and Ingram. This role provides an excellent opportunity to work across significant retail and digital accounts in the world’s leading book publishing house.

STUDENT BRAND MANAGER

Prodigy Gold Books' Sales is looking for Brand Manager . The Manager will identify growth opportunities based on sales reporting and make recommendations on positioning, pricing, and strategy to publishing & sales. 

The goal of the Manager will be to maximize exposure opportunities for titles while generating profitability for the company.


Specific responsibilities include:

  • Helping the publishing group establish aggressive, realistic sales goals for individual titles and working with sales and marketing teams to ensure that appropriate marketing support is available for achieving these goals.
  • Reviewing each titles publishing plans as they are formed and making recommendations based on a review of account/channel trends, other title’s performance, etc.
  • Working with sales and marketing teams to develop retailer-specific programs and promotions.
  • Reviewing marketing and publicity plans and analyzing and presenting results of all licensed promotions to publishing and sales groups.
